Prayer of Salvation
Romans 10:9-10 says that “if you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.”
In following what the scripture has said, to accept Jesus Christ into your heart as your Savior and become a Christian, a follower of Jesus Christ, say the prayer below out loud.
Heavenly Father,
Thank you for loving me. I know that I'm a sinner. Thank you for sending your son Jesus, the lamb of God, to take away all my sins. Thank you that He took my place on the cross, bore my punishment, died for me and rose again on the third day morning. Lord Jesus I ask you to come into my heart and save me. Lord, I believe your words are true. By faith, I accept you as my personal savior and your wonderful gift of eternal life. Thank you, Jesus, for taking away all my sins and for loving me.
